United Winds

We are "United Winds"

We are an amateur woodwind and brass ensemble, consisting of students and some older non-professional musicians. Our group is made up of 25 musicians aged between 12 and 60. Our conductor Barbara Schmitto worked as a horn teacher at our music school in Soltau, Germany. Our ensemble dveloped from her longtime work with her students. Exchanges with music groups in/from other countries have always played an important role in Barbara's work. Our ensemble has had the opportunity to visit various parts of the world and we value these cultural und musical contacts highly.
